Sen. McConnaughay to host 3rd Annual Women’s Conference

In an effort to empower, encourage, and inspire women, State Sen. Karen McConnaughay (R-St. Charles) is hosting her 3rd annual FREE Women’s Conference on Thursday, October 5 at 4:30 p.m. at Elgin Community College.

“The mission of my women’s conference is to bring together women from all walks of life who desire to grow professionally and personally, and to promote leadership among women of all ages,” said McConnaughay. “With the help of dynamic speakers and active corporate sponsors, attendees will engage in thoughtful discussion on how to achieve success in the workplace.”

                        Registration begins at 4:00 p.m.

                        Conference begins at 4:30 p.m.

This year’s keynote speaker is Christine Dudley, Director of Illinois Firm Office. Panelists for the event include:   

  • Ami Christianson, Owner of One Salon Bridal Co.
  • Janice Christiansen, President of FlagSource
  • Linda Deering, President of Advocate Sherman Hospital
  • Loretta Rosenmayer, Founder and Chairwoman of the Board at INTREN

A networking reception will follow the panel discussion in the Atrium. Cocktails and appetizers will be provided.
